Author’s Bio
Naz is an Iranian-American writer and filmmaker. Her writing has appeared in literary journals including Mayday Magazine, (mac)ro(mic), and Lost Balloon. Previously, her translations have been published in Farsi. She is an Associate Editor at SugarSugarSalt.
Naz holds an MFA in Writing and an MA in Media Arts. She lives in North Carolina and teaches storytelling and film editing at the UNC-Chapel Hill’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media and the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke. She is currently working on a memoir.
